Are you about to start your Civil Engineering degree and looking for a head start in the industry? We are offering a full-time Engineering Cadetship in our Townsville office – perfect for school leavers ready to dive into the world of land development and infrastructure design.

As a Cadet Civil Drafter, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and designers on long-term, master planned community projects. From lot layouts to arterial roads, water services and utilities – you’ll be part of a team delivering full-service design solutions that shape the future of our communities.

Key Responsibility

  • Preparing sketch plans and design drawings using AutoCAD and other software.
  • Supporting the design team with drafting and documentation.
  • Collaborating on project delivery within timeframes and budgets.
  • Learning and applying engineering standards and quality systems.

Required Experience

  • Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree (or planning to start).
  • Strong interest in design and infrastructure.
  • Some exposure to CAD software (AutoCAD or 12d Model) – not essential, but a bonus!
  • Great communication, time management, and a willingness to learn.
